1. Can more than one challenge be claimed?

Simple answer: no. However, the way I see it, if after the closing date to claim a challenge there is still a significant number of challenges that haven't been claimed, then I will allow people already participating to choose another one. This remains at my discretion though. It all depends on how many people claim challenges.

2. How long does my fic have to be?

I would ask for at least 500 words. At least 1000 would be ideal, if you can manage it. But it doesn't have to be. Just as long as you have fun writing it. ^^

3. Ok, I'm fine with all that, now tell me, why for the love of Merlin is it based on the Australian Time Zone?

Basically to make it easier on myself. Heh. Here are some conversions that may possibly help you:

It is based on Canberra, Melbourne, Sydney time and that is GMT + 10:00.
Therefore, at 12:00 am in Sydney it would be (9th May):

3:00 pm in London;

10:00 am on the East Coast of America;

9:00 am US Central;

7:00 am on the West Coast of America.
