Catching the Snitch

Part: 4/7
Artist: [info]red_rahl
Challenge: #21. During Quidditch, way up high, Draco falls. Harry catches him.
Rating: PG-13.
Warnings: The NC-17 panel (on page 2) is not worksafe!
Notes: -I thank my poor friends, Tanuchan and Maaya, for looking over my comic as it progressed from raw pencils sketches. Hell, they're not even into the H/D pairing at all but they were willing to overlook that to give me some much needed advice.
-The comic is in the tradition of Western comics, so read it accordingly. (It'd be really confusing if you read it like a manga...)
-The pictures were penciled and inked by hand and colored in photoshop. I had a lot of fun doing this, even though it was a lot of work. The coloring is a bit more rushed than I would've preferred but that's my own fault.
-This story took me a long time to hammer out and even then, it turned out to be rather fluffy because trying to do anything deeper would've taken me a helluva lot more pages to tell. I hope the boys are snarky enough (I love them when they're like that).
-I took liberties with the uniforms and the (very simplified) Quidditch field. I really simplified the uniforms because it'd have been a real pain to draw the house badges and all the details on the protective gear.
-I learned some things about my Harry and Draco!muses:
1) Harry is usually not fussy when I draw him, although his messy hair is something of a pain to color. 2) Draco is far more tempermental when I try to draw him consistently but at least his hair is always gorgeous (disheveled and otherwise). 3) Red really does sort of wash Draco out. Huh. Didn't know that.
